"

Wilson is one of rock's most distinguished artists and influential pop composers of the last 50 years. Beginning in 1962, as the co-founder and creative force behind one of America's most beloved bands, the Beach Boys, Wilson was arranger, producer and co-writer of an incredible wave of records that included such hits as "California Girls," "Surfer Girl," "I Get Around," "In My Room," "Help Me Rhonda," "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Fun, Fun, Fun," "Don't Worry Baby," "God Only Knows" and the never-duplicated 'pocket symphony' he called "Good Vibrations," just to name a few. In the 1960s, he became the first recording artist to take total control of his art, from song selection to choice of studio musicians, to finished product. Withdrawing from touring, in 1966 Wilson produced the much-celebrated Pet Sounds, an album that is still cited as one of the all-time great pop albums (recently listed third all-time by a VH1 poll of the greatest pop recordings). When Wilson followed-up with "Good Vibrations," his reputation as a modern-day Mozart was secured. In the years and decades since those heady commercial and creative times, Wilson has continued to create memorable music, writing songs such as "This Whole World," "Add Some Music To Your Day," "'Til I Die" and "Love & Mercy."

AN ALL-STAR TRIBUTE TO BRIAN WILSON is produced for TNT by Radio City Entertainment and Rachlin-Leaf Productions in association with Line By Line Productions. Brian Diamond is executive producer for Radio City
Entertainment; Sandy Shapiro is executive producer for TNT. David Leaf and Chip Rachlin are producers, Frank Garritano is co-producer. Bruce Gowers is director. Ali Gifford is talent producer. Tisha Fein is talent coordinator.
