Additional Infos "Memphis Beach" (written by Chuck Berry in 1958) is "Carl's Big Chance". The song was recorded under that title, but changed prior to release for some as-yet-unexplained reason. One good guess: The title change came when somebody realized they could keep the publishing (listen to Brian tell Al "Don't play that lick", at 5:05, cut 12 on the SOT boot). The first couple of takes sound a lot more like "Memphis".
