Murry Gage Wilson Father of Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson
* 2.7.1917 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He had 7 brothers and sisters.

Wife: After their marriage he worked at Goodyear at an assembly line. Some of his songs were recorded, eg Fiesta Day Polka, Hide My Tears, but with no success. "His Little Darling" and "Two Step Side Step" are some of his songs. In the meantime Murry quit his job at Goodyear and found the ABLE Machinery (solding techn. appurtenances to the airplane industry). Murry had lost his left eye in an working accident at Goodyear. 1952 was the first time that a Murry Wilson song was released. The Bachelors did "Two Step Side Step" Also Lawrence Welk played this song which was live broadcasted in the radio. |
